With the Phoenix Centre we want to create a centre of excellence - a think tank of bright creative young businesses for SCY to champion. The objective is to support these entrepreneurs to produce robust, stable, and adaptable companies.
The Phoenix Centre is a serviced business premises, set within the vibrant city-centre campus of York St John University.
The Centre provides a significant opportunity for emerging businesses to align themselves with a leading higher educational institution. In doing so the entrepreneurs benefit from a high quality, eclectic creative learning environment.
During their year in the Phoenix centre, entrepreneurs will be encouraged to take advantage of a full range of business support services from Science City York. This is in addition to help from our partners, training, mentoring, profile raising, networking, competitions, funding advice, business angels and HEI collaborations.
